The 2018 SDR PGA TOUR Play Day for The Masters Tournament boasted 27 entries this year. This fun Event includes each amateur player drawing a PGA TOUR Player teaming up their Net Score with their respective player’s Final Round Score at Augusta National. A total of $540 in Golf Shop Credit was awarded to the top five finishers. SDR golfers could play their rounds on any day Friday-Sunday, when playing by the USGA Rules of Golf and having an attest to their score.
Over the weekend, temperatures sizzled up to 90-degrees and SDR golfers had some hot rounds too. Wanda Giles paired up with Cameron Smith with matching 6-under par 66’s to take home the first place prize of $165.00. Butch Bullock fired the low net round of all SDR golfers with a 64 and partnered with Louis Oosthuizen who shot 66 at Augusta, good enough for second place and $130.00. Jack Whitehouse/Bubba Watson, Dave Straub/Jordan Spieth, Bill Busse/Justin Rose, Mike Tobin/Patrick Reed, and Jim Cliborne/Jason Day rounded out the field of money winners.
