Sierra Del Rio Hole #8 Back Tees 420 yds – Middle Tees 375 yds – Time-14:00 Third hole in a row with the beautiful views. OK, stay awake. This one is down hill, tee to green and if you get past the two bunkers on the right off the tee, you have one huge bunker at the green. It looks like four bunkers but is actually one. Once again, like #7, the “Phelps green” is going to fool the best of us. Once on the green if we have a putt running from the left side to the right side, it looks like it will break right. Likewise, going from right to left it looks like it will break left. I will guarantee you this will not happen. The green looks tilted from back to front but it really is flat. So if you play any break at all don’t give the hole away. You need a high soft shot to hold this green.
