Sierra Del Rio Hole #16 Back Tees 416 yds – Middle Tees 385 yds – Time-14:00 This is a magnificent hole. (All the others come in tied for second). Don’t let the short distance fool you. The back tee is on TOP of the mesa about 65 feet above ground level. The carry to the landing area will be about 250 yards but won’t play that long because of the height of the tee. It’s a bit of a climb up rock steps as you pass an old abandoned mine shaft. From the landing area the hole turns 90 degrees left to a green tucked back into a hillside. This will be the most demanding putting surface on the course, three levels. So bring your best putting stroke. In a word, this hole is beautiful. From the teeing ground you see almost the entire property. Bring your camera or we will have them in the golf shop.
